Hey fellas. Today I started to devise some strats for us to use and prac with for Anzio. I will try and do some more maps but it will take sometime. Pls feel free to add your own comments and suggestions and then we should have a meeting to confirm the final strat Map - Anzio Axis This may sound a little un-orthodox but here goes:- Persons 1, 2, 3 & 4 rush to the bridge. We need 2 Kars to hold back a little and take out allies attempting to take bridge. Once bridge is capped the group (if all intact) will splinter.. Persons 1 and/or 2 will go to their first flag (laundry) watch for enemy capping plaza and person 3 and/or 4 will go to middle flag (street) and then onto plaza to assist persons 5 & 6. Persons 5 & 6 will spwan and go immediately to the right through the back tunnels with chosen weapon (preferably Kars but STG will also work) and into the building above allies second flag (plaza) need to watch for incoming nades...-one of you may even go to the doorway next to the alley. Here you both can lob "primed nades" and try to defend the plaza. This will be difficult particularly if they rush the plaza. If successful, attempt to cap out and advance to their last or splinter to provide support where needed. Now, things could go belly up and all pear shaped but that is ok, use you instincts and try to follow this plan. It is important for persons 5 & 6 to defend their position and not advance unnecessarily. If anyone from persons 1,2,3 or 4 die, still splinter off if it means only one goes to street while the other defends of if the game dictates and we have killed enough of them to advance to laundry or spwan camp along thier beach front. Allies Pretty much do the above but in reverse. Persons 1,2,3 & 4 rush to plaza to cap but watch out for nades and persons in window above plaza. Once capped, splinter to street and hill. If you get to hill nade their spawn both primed and unprimed, you may get lucky. Also, if we have enough still alive, cross the hill to their back tunnels and wait for them to spawn and kill. Person 5 & 6, enter from spawn through right hand side door and shoot a whole in the floor to your left.(this can be dangerous as they may spwan camp us later so beware) Go down the tunnel, again watching for nades (enemy will expect you to come out above you in the windows above the bridge). Cross water and nade the bridge closest to their side..primed if possible. Cross the water to right hand side tunnel and wait. They may nade you if they know your there. Use instints to either double back to go up ladder to kill and attempt to cap bridge One may stay and the other double back, either, you will be required to advance to the bridge. This will be difficult to achieve but once the plaza/street is capped, persons 1,2,3 & 4 if they are still alive should defend the hill and also, splinter off to help cap the bridge.. In all of this, use your instinct. Dont charge if you dont need too, wait and be patient. If you see that a group or team have been killed, continue with your plan, they will have to dig deep and return to their plans. During the game, particularly if no-one has capped for awhile, this strat will probably be hard to stick too so try to pair up with someone and use the same basic principles. If all goes well, someone try to double back to defend the main flags like bridge or plaza..depending on whether we are allies or axis as above... Clear as mud... I hope so...
